JB’s foi a banda de apoio ao mestre James Brown durante a primeira metade dos anos 70. Após várias brigas internas decidiram cair fora, levando com eles o nome JB’s, que nada mais é que a abreviação de James Brown. Antes disso tiveram alguns nomes (The James Brown Soul Train, Maceo and the Macks and The Last Word). Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley e Maceo Parker são os Jbs Horns, os que mais se sobressaíram.
